Hi, I’m Tay.

Running has always been part of me - but it didn’t always look like this

I’ve always been a runner, but everything shifted in 2019 when my husband and I adopted our dog, Spaten. Those daily runs started as simple movement and time outside, but they quickly became something more.

Running gave me space.
Space to clear my head.
Space to step away from drinking and choices that weren’t serving me.
Space to build consistency, discipline, and confidence - one mile at a time.

As I leaned into running more seriously, it became a tool not just for fitness, but for personal growth. It taught me how powerful routine can be, how showing up imperfectly still counts, and how movement can anchor you when life feels overwhelming.

That’s where Sunfade Running was born.

I started Sunfade Running alongside my best friend, Carly, who founded Sunfade Fitness, with a shared goal: to give people an accessible way to reach their goals from wherever they are that fit into their lives. Training shouldn’t require perfection, unlimited time, or an all-or-nothing mindset. It should fit into real life.

Sunfade Running is about meeting you where you are - and helping you build something sustainable from there. Not just better races, but a healthier relationship with training, consistency, and yourself.

My Approach

Supportive, flexible, and built for real life

I don’t believe in rigid plans or “perfect” training weeks. I believe in consistency, communication, and meeting you where you’re at.

My coaching style is:

  • Personalized - your plan is built around your goals, schedule, and experience

  • Flexible - life happens, and your training should be able to adjust

  • Educational - I want you to understand why you’re doing what you’re doing

  • Supportive - encouragement when you need it, honesty when it matters

I focus on effort, purpose, and progression - not just hitting exact paces or checking boxes. Some weeks you’ll push. Some weeks you’ll pull back. Both matter.

Running can be a powerful outlet, and it should feel like something that adds to your life, not takes from it. My goal is to help you feel confident in your training, capable on race day, and supported throughout the process.

You don’t need to be elite. You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You just need a plan - and someone in your corner.
